The challenge

The business had outgrown the site by about two years: new services had nowhere to live, the brand had evolved past the templates, and the codebase carried the fingerprints of four previous vendors.

Leadership needed a platform that marketing could run daily without engineering, and engineering could trust without babysitting — those two requirements had never coexisted here.

The approach

The work started in analytics and server logs, not moodboards: which templates carried revenue, which URLs carried links, which plugins carried logic. The rebuild was scoped from evidence.

Migration ran parallel — content, customers and order history moved behind a frozen URL map, with redirects staged and tested before cutover day, not after.

Every integration was mapped with failure modes before writing code: queues, retries and alerts where data mattered, graceful degradation where it didn't.

  • Editor block library built from the design system
  • Core Web Vitals in the green on production hardware
  • Integration layer with queues, retries and failure alerts
  • 30-day post-launch stabilisation and training
